Jordan Beech
Director & Support Worker
During the past five years, my professional journey in the disability sector has been both fulfilling and transformative. I have a passion for making a positive impact in people lives which led me to this field, where I've had the privilege of working with individuals with diverse needs, behaviours, and abilities.
From the outset, I embraced the challenges, understanding the importance of creating inclusive and supportive environments. What sets my approach apart is a genuine love for my job. My passion for sport and recreation has led me to build this space for people with disabilities to come and find their passion too!

Support Worker
I have a passion for supporting others to build their skills and achieve their goals. I feel everyone has the right to live their best quality of life, feel confident within themselves, and maintain independence. I believe living an active lifestyle and moving your body the correct way influences these factors by naturally increasing our overall health and well-being.

Support Worker
I’m passionate about disability support and have worked in the sector for three years. I love seeing the smiles on participants' faces when they achieve their goals and try new things. Building positive connections is important to me. Growing up in the Riverland, I know how vital it is to feel part of the community, and I hope to bring that sense of belonging to my work with Riverland Active.

Nathan
Support Worker
I enjoy being a support worker because I love working directly with people and helping those in our community. It’s important for participants to be active and involved in the community, as it creates a sense of belonging, builds confidence in social settings, and encourages a healthy, active lifestyle.

Support Worker
I'm passionate about helping others and enjoy working with people. After many years in hospitality, I feel fortunate to now support participants in building skills, forming connections, and achieving their goals. Seeing their smiles when they try new things and embrace challenges is incredibly rewarding. Staying active and getting outdoors, especially in our beautiful Riverland community, is essential for well-being. The sunshine and fresh air, along with the connections we build, truly do wonders for us. We're lucky to have such a vibrant, supportive community that encourages us to stay engaged and energised.
Happy Client Testimonials
Jordan is kind, reliable, compassionate and highly skilled, making him an asset for any client with a disability. Jordan provided support to our son Alex who has autism and limited verbal communication. His contributions were invaluable and made a positive impact on our family. Jordan increased our son’s independence and decreased his need for prompting. He provided person-centred care to focus on ways to move Alex forward such as playing his guitar and singing with Alex to open up and grow his communication.
He encouraged physical activities such as walking, running and gym work. Jordan’s listening skills were excellent and he was non-judgmental. He adapted to unpredictable situations, able to use non-verbal cues such as facial expression, hand gestures and eye contact to connect. He gave clear, consistent instructions. He has a positive can-do attitude, good sense of humour with a warm smile. He is a dedicated person that goes above and beyond to encourage and enable a fulfilling life for his clients. Jordan is an inspiration to be around and we will miss him very much. I know he will bring the same dedication and compassion to any role he undertakes in the future.
Kind regards,
Jenni
I have known Jordan Beech for approximately 12 months. Jordan has been a support worker for my daughter, who is a young adult with severe autism, level 3, with intellectual impairments and severe anxiety. Jordan has had several roles and responsibilities: Transporting, Toileting, Life and social skills, Organising activities, Safety procedures, Assisting with meals and Behavioural support.
Jordan is an extremely reliable, professional, responsible, honest, and hard-working person. He displayed professionalism in difficult circumstances and always excelled in challenging situations. Jordan has amazing communication skills and was someone who could show empathy to my family as well as my young adult. It will be very difficult to replace someone like Jordan and he will be sadly missed. We wish him all the very best with his move to a new State.
Regards,
Nicole DeVito
